Gromox is the central groupware server component of grommunio. It is capable
of serving as a replacement for Microsoft Exchange and compatibles.
Connectivity options include RPC/HTTP (Outlook Anywhere), MAPI/HTTP, IMAP,
POP3, an SMTP-speaking LDA, and a PHP module with a MAPI function subset.
Components can scale-out over multiple hosts.

Post-install/update instructions for Gromox
===========================================

Before starting gromox for the first time
-----------------------------------------
Create a database for grommunio and grant permissions for a user.
# mysql
MariaDB [(none)]> CREATE DATABSE grommunio;
MariaDB [(none)]> GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON grommunio.* TO 'grommunio'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'password';
MariaDB [(none)]> FLUSH PRIVILEGES;

Configure SQL connection settings in /etc/gromox/mysql_adaptor.cfg.

Create the database schema.
# gromox-dbop -C

Starting gromox services
------------------------
Gromox consist of several services that can be enabled and started with a 'meta' rc.d script.
# rcctl enable gromox
# rcctl start gromox

After gromox was started for the first time
-------------------------------------------
Install the grommunio-admin package to be able to manage the grommunio installation.
# pkg_add grommunio-admin

Configure grommunio-admin's database settings by editing /etc/grommunio-admin-api/conf.d/database.yaml.

Setting up the password for the admin user.
# grommunio-admin passwd

Create a domain to be handled by grommunio (-u is mandatory and sets the maximum number of users).
# grommunio-admin domain create -u 999 example.com

Create a user to be handled by grommunio
# grommunio-admin user create --lang en_US joe@example.com

Set the password for the user.
# grommunio-admin passwd robert@nerd.hu

Mail delivery agent configuration
=================================

By default grommunio will handle SMTP connections on port 24 so a forwarding for
specific domains have to be configured by your SMTP server.
